Sep 2011 - Sigaria hosted it's first Asia Pacific conference in Singapore to great acclaim. The event attracted over 150 top procurement and sourcing executives from the region to see a world class speaker line up that included executives from Dell, IBM and Credit Suisse. May 2011 - Sigaria Ltd continues to make an impression in the world of global publishing with a win and another further nomination at the PPA awards - the 'oscars' for UK publishers. Sigaria's co-founder and Managing Director, Alex Martinez, won   Publisher/Manager of the Year category, which recognises  the most innovative and successful publishing businesses with revenues under £10m.  The companies flagship title Procurement Leaders was also nominated first for 'Best Business Magazine 2011'  after two consecutive annual victories at the smaller IPAC awards. 

Commenting, Alex said "this is a fantastic achievement for our organisation which is still only seven year's old. The  brand names we are competing with are all in a 'who's-who' of global publishing and it is an honour and testament to the hard work of our team, that we can be recognised amongst them." 

The awards are the largest and most prestigious in the annual calendar and attract the best in publishing. This year saw over 700 entries submitted across the B2b and consumer categories.      

Feb 2011 - Sigaria announces opening of office in India to cover expansion into Asia Pacific Region

Sigaria announced today the opening of an office in Puner, India that will serve the expansion of it's business into the Asia Pacific region. Commenting on the opening, Alex Martinex, Managing Director said "this is an important part of our global operations expansion and will serve the growing information needs of our community in the AP region".

Supporting the launch was a kick-off Procurement Leaders gathering which took place at the spectacular Marina Bay Sands Sky Deck in Singapore.

Dec 2010: Sigaria wins two awards at the Independent Publisher Awards 2010 and retains title as Business Magazine of the Year.

Sigaria was awarded Business Magazine of the Year for an unprecedented second year running at the recent IPAC Awards  in London. In front of a packed audience of the UKs top independent publishers, David Rae, Editor of the magazine and the Sigaria team picked up the award. Speaking after the event, David Rae said that it was a "remarkable achievement" for the team and something that he was very proud of.

Sigaria's Rudy Bonura also won Sales person of the Year and Sigaria was a finalist in a further three categories of the remaining five.
